There’s no sense in working so hard and stressing yourself out to such a degree that you just short-circuit. You need to make careful, reasonable strides towards your goals. It’s like that old anecdote, about the tortoise and the hare. “Slow and steady wins the race!”
It’s also important to just take care of yourself, y’know? Like, when you’re staying up super late to study for some exam, maybe consider eating some actual food, or getting enough sleep, or exercising. These things can make all the difference in the world. I get the sense that a fair amount of people drop out of college because they just neglected themselves and put their schoolwork first.
